LOV’NLOC cares about you and your personal integrity. We always strive for a high level of data protection. This Privacy Policy explains how LOV’NLOC collects and uses your personal information. It also describes your rights and how you can assert your rights.

By using LOV’NLOC’s services, you agree to our Privacy Policy and our processing of your personal information. You also agree that LOV’NLOC uses electronic communication channels to send you information. You can contact us for privacy and data protection issues and questions by sending us an e-mail.

Before using our services, it is important that you read the privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your personal information.

What information do we collect and how do we use it?

When purchasing from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us, such as your name, address and e-mail address. When contacting our customer support, we also collect personal data related to your inquiry to be able to help you. We only collect and save data for as long as it is necessary to fulfil our agreement of your purchase.

We will inform you, for every process of personal data we collect from you, whether the provision of personal data is statutory or required to enter a contract and whether it is an obligation to provide the personal data and possible consequences if you choose not to.

When you browse our store, we automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. The cookies may collect session information such as pages viewed, session duration, transactions made and demographics such as location, gender and age.

With your permission, we may also send you emails about new products and other updates.

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent?

If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, by contacting us at hello@lovnloc.com.

You are also able to opt-out directly via e-mails we send to you, as all marketing related e-mails have an opt-out link at the bottom of each e-mail.

DISCLOSURE

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Sales.

WEB SHOP

Our store is hosted on Shopify. They provide the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell you our products and services. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall. We will never save your personal data any longer than necessary for each purpose. See more about the specific storage periods for each purpose.

PAYMENT

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as necessary to complete your purchase transaction.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard and American Express. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

THIRD PARTY SERVICES

Third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. In cases where it is necessary, we share your personal data with companies that are data processors for us. A data processor is a company that processes the information on our behalf. These could be:

  • Transport (logistics companies, freight forwarders).
  • Payment solutions (banks, other payment service providers).
  • Marketing (social media, media agencies).
  • IT services (companies that handle necessary operations, technical support and maintenance of our IT solutions).

When your personal information is shared with a data processor, it is only for purposes to fulfil our obligations under the Purchase Agreement.

Certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies. We recommend that you read their privacy policies to understand the manner in which your personal information is handled by these providers.

Certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located at a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Sales.
